The Friends of Folger buying group was established in memory of Alan Folger, whos passion for The Show, its volunteers and its mission continues to inspire us.
Friends of Folger is a committee-led fundraising effort created to turn fellowship into meaningful impact.
Through event tickets, tables, sponsorships, auctions and generous supporters, we help purchase projects from youth exhibitors which supports those families who have worked all year to reach the auction floor. Protein purchased at auction is then used to feed the committee as we build, setup and run The Show

Friends of Folger is a Committee-led fundraising effort created to turn fellowship into meaningful impact.
Through event tickets, tables, donors, auctions, and generous donors, we help purchase projects from youth exhibitors and support the families who have worked all year to reach the auction floor.
What began as a way to carry forward a legacy of service has grown into something that brings our Rodeo family together for a purpose bigger than any one event.
Behind every project is a young exhibitor, a family, and countless hours spent preparing for the opportunity to step into the arena.
When Friends of Folger purchases a project, the impact doesn’t end with the auction. It recognizes the exhibitor’s work, supports their future, and can bring food back to the ROC family during Show.
That full circle of impact is what makes this effort so special.

ROC Members, familes, businesses and friends purchase tickets, tables, sponsorships, and auction items.
2. BOOTS AND BOO'S BRINGS EVERYONE TOGETHER
The event combines dinner, live music, auctions, dancing and fellowship to raise support for the mission.
3. FRIENDS OF FOLGER SUPPORTS YOUTH EXHIBITORS
Funds raised help us participate in auctions and purchase projects from deserving exhibitors.
4. THE IMPACT EXTENDS
Purchased protein returns back to ROC, where it helps feed committee members who help setup and run The Rodeo.

Guests come together for dinner, dancing, auctions, live music, fellowship and a western Halloween experience, all while helping us create more opportunities to support youth exhibitors.
